CombiCoop is a purchasing and project management agency for professional horticulture and has developed a greenhouse horticulture project in the desert of Tunisia on behalf of Agro Care under the name Desert Joy.
This last week of July our service engineers have been working in Tunisia. Commissioned by CombiCoop (a professional purchasing and project management agency for professional horticulture), they connected two Okken panels with generator control, built by us, in an Agro Care tomato nursery in the desert. On the project with the sounding name Desert Joy, 8 greenhouses of a total of more than 10 Ha will be built and a factory that processes seawater into fresh water for irrigating the plants.
Schneider Electric’s MTZ3 is used in the two Okken distribution panels (4000 A and 2000 A) because of its known performance under hot conditions. In addition, the panel is set up more spacious, so the copper can cool better.
