For the heat production location of power company Eneco in Overvecht, Elektro Internationaal has been commissioned by Eneco Warmteproductie B.V. to replace the old distribution system. The panel in question feeds the district heating of the residential area Overvecht, which provides 15,000 households with heating.
The distribution panel was executed in the Cubic system (1600 A, with a length of 4,656 mm and a weight of 3,500 kg) and equipped with a fully insulated rail system.
The distributor consists of two parts (an A and a B feed) that can take over each other’s load. In the photo you can see the first new part next to the second part to be replaced.
The panel has been set up entirely according to the dimensions of the old system in order to enable connection of the existing cables.
